Bob has over 33 years of federal contracting experience where he honed his skills and earned the reputation as a FSS subject matter expert, innovative thinker, doer and a common-sense practitioner relative to federal contracting Before becoming a consultant in 1999, Bob was the National Director for the Federal Government segment in the Corporate Accounts Group at Roche Diagnostics (formerly Boehringer Mannheim), where he learned the medical device and diagnostics business. Federal sales increased by more than 100 percent to over $50M in the five-and-a-half years Bob directed federal activities. Growth was a result of full implementation of its FSS contracts, sales force training, market penetration and innovative, high compliance agreements. Bob Grimm holds an undergraduate degree in Finance, cum laude, from The Ohio State University as well as an MBA from Baldwin-Wallace College in 1979. Bob earned his designation as a Certified Professional Contract Manager (CPCM) through the National Contract Management Association (NCMA) in 1987 and became a Lifetime Certificant in 2011. In 1991, Bob was awarded the distinction of Fellow from NCMA for his achievements in and contributions to the profession of government contracting. |
